Your phone system SUCKS! One does not get a real person only an answering machine even when the office is open. My daughter has a test she can not miss which is the same time as her appt. it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of a REAL person!

The wait to see the doctor was totally acceptable, but to wait 2 weeks for a follow-up visit scheduled during the first visit seems rather long. Follow-up visit should be closer so the patient feels like they're important and not that their doctor's visit should last for weeks. I did appreciate the professionalism of the staff.

Receptionist was friendly and checked me in and reviewed my benefits with me. I only waited a few minutes then saw the doctor’s assistant for some pre-tests. I waited a few more minutes and saw the doctor for a very thorough eye exam. She confirmed that my vision had not changed since I saw a different doctor last year, and prescribed the same glasses. Alex the optician then helped me pick out Prada eyeglasses that I am in love with! My only complaint is now I have to wait a few days to get them in!

I will not be coming back to Edwardsville Vision Center. First I called an told the young lady that answered the phone that I had recently retired , had lost my vision insurance an was wanting a quote on the visit. She said $35.00. I knew there was another test that cost $20.00. That takes us to $55.00. I was charged $65.00! Number 2. After I saw the Doctor , she told me to have a seat out front where I waited an waited until I ask what was going on. The young lady apologized over an over , so that was ok but seems your office is not with it.

I went to the Edwardsville Vision Center last week to have a routine check up. This was my first time going to this location and I was very pleased. The staff was very courteous and helpful and they even adjusted a pair of glasses that I already have. Dr. Angela Demetrulias was very informative and thorough and answered every question I had. The wait time was also very short compared to other places which is a plus. I will definitely be coming back here for my eye care needs!

I had a 1derfull experience I think the Dr is great she was explaining every step of the way the girls Stephanie and Carrie were also great I'm from st Louis and got lost I called numerous times and I felt I was getting on their nerves but they were very polite so I will be coming over there from now and will be telling my friends and family it was well worth the trip!!!!

My recent visit was very nice EXCEPT that I felt that after my exam the lady who was suppose to take my copay was doing everything to delay things so she could sell me more stuff. She was extremely helpful finding me frames that I might help but I did eventually say "I'm not going to make a decision today". She still went on and didn't ask "do you need additional contact lenses" but just kept typing - which felt like it too forever (I was on my lunch hour and in a hurry) - and then told me "a years supply of contacts will be $110 after your $50 discount......"; ugh. I have 6 months supply still left and didn't want any contacts. Honestly it didn't leave me very happy.

Dr. Brave is excellent! I have been her patient for 5 years. She is very knowledgable and takes time to explain things in simple terms. She always gives a thorough exam. The manager, Stephanie is awesome! She knows all about various insurances. Most important, she is honest about if the glasses look good on you or not! Stephanie is the BEST!!!

The help I received at Edwardsville Vision was wonderful. I have always had problems with finding contacts but they took everything I told them and tried several brands until I found ones that actually work for me. Also they helped me find super cute glasses that were less than half the price that I was used to paying for glasses.

The Doctor was awesome, I will definitely come back to her. However, the lady that was trying to sell me glasses was way too pushy. Also, my insurance was not correct they told me I only had a discount program, and I indeed checked with my employer and that is not true we have vision insurance through BCBS. Lastly, I emailed and asked for my contact prescription which must be given on request as state law mandates, and I have received nothing as of yet. I like Dr. Brave a lot but the rest of the experience was not good.

My recent eye exam at Edwardsville Vision Center was a breeze! The staff area always very personable and helpful! My husband goes to another eye center (shame on him!!) simply because he doesn't like change; his visit usually takes 30-45 minutes. Who has time for that?? Certainly not me as I usually schedule my exam during my lunch hour which can be inconvenient if I was going to my husband's eye center. One can book your exam in your lunch hour here at Edwardsville Vision Center and be safely on your way within 20-25 minutes. Keep up the good work!!!

I recently ordered new glasses and lens from Edwardsville Vision Center. Stephanie was my representative at your store, because I have bought my last 3 pairs of glasses from her and she has always done a great job for me. When I came in to purchase my new glasses this time, my first question to her was "are you intending to stay at Edwardsville Vision Center for the next few years so that I can count on you to straighten my glasses each month"? I only allow Stephanie to adjust my glasses and if she is not there, I return another day. She assured me that she would be there. She is pleasant, patient, honest, insightful and very helpful to me. I know that I will look attractive with my new glasses, because she tells me if the glasses are not for me. I know I can depend on Stephanie and I will return to her each time I need new glasses or my glasses straightened.

I actually can't say anything negative about my visit to Edwardsville Vision Center! I was in and out within an hour. Everyone was very helpful, even beyond expectations. I had to bring my two (2) year old in to the appointment with me and the staff their willingly helped keep him entertained while I got my eyes checked out. I will definitely be back!

I agree with the last two postings. The front gals are not very good at their jobs. I went in for a wellness exam (free on my insurance) and then was asked if I wanted to do the $20 additional exam that also dilates my eyes. I said sure. Then after the exam, I was told by the gal up front that I would have to pay the $50 co-pay for a "speciality" visit. What?! I told her I made a wellness visit. Then she tried to tell me that I should have know it would have been a specialty visit since I had the additional exam. Sorry, not my job. They should have told me up front. VERY unprofessional! I refused to pay the $50. Plus my insurance wouldn't have paid it anyway since I didn't get the upfront referral letter that was needed to send it on. Wow! Won't be back to that office!

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The staff makes sure that if you have vision insurance it is being used to its fullest. They will always figure things a coupe way just to make sure the client is getting the best value. It is nice to walk into a place a business and be greeted by friendly people!! The customer service is outstanding in this store. My daughter broke her glasses which were under warranty and Marcia P. worked really hard to find another store that still had the discontinued frame in the same color, had it overnighted at no cost to us, and put my daughters lenses in the next morning and she was good to go. I had a similar experience when I came in to get a new pair of glasses after my prescription had changed. She looked at my current glasses and walked over and found the identical frame that was discontinued and got me set up with a new pair of glasses. I did not have to go through the stress of changing to a new style. When their location moved from Glen Carbon to Edwardsville, which is farther away for us, our family will still be coming to this vision center. We love Dr. Brave and her staff.

I have been going to the vision center for many years and we love it here! I have three boys and all enjoy going each year for their annual check up. Everyone is so nice that their is no anxiety at all to go to the eye doctor. In fact, we all like how well Dr. Brave is taking care of our eyes! The administrative group is very friendly, and helpful. It is great to see them take extra time to make sure everything is covered under our insurance. They are always willing to answer any questions my family may have. The follow up by the staff is great. I would highly recommend trying out the Edwardsville Vision Center.

I have been going to Glen Carbon Vision Center for about six years, but this will be my last time. I have finally decided to find a different vision center. I only go once a year for regular eye exam and the eye doctor is very good. It is the administrative staff i have a problem with. Each year they mess something up: order the wrong contacts, order the wrong prescriptions for my contacts, bill me incorrectly, forget to tell me about additional fees until the time that i go in to pick up my contacts, just to name a few. This last time i received two calls reminding me of my January appointment, but neither time did they mention that the office had moved to a new location in December. That should have been a given. The front office staff just lost my business.
